About Nadia
With 12-years of media and communications experience, Nadia Laws has strived to break barriers as a woman of colour in the local PR industry.
Starting out her career in 2009 as a news reporter with The Royal Gazette, Nadia quickly worked her way up to becoming a senior reporter, qualified through the UK’s Press Association. In early 2016, after seven years full-time in the fast-paced, but exciting journalism industry, she decided she was ready for a new challenge. Nadia founded The Media Maven in an effort to use her skills in writing and budding interest in entrepreneurship, to help corporate clients, small businesses, and non-profits to manage, build and preserve their brand identity and message.
In her six years as a communications consultant, Nadia has worked with clients in banking, reinsurance and law, as well as government, quangos, small businesses and not-for-profits.
